If you're using Pachyderm, you should probably copy your old email archives into the Pachyderm message store. If your archives are on a SRC Unix machine, we have two programs that help with this.
  • If your email archives are in mh folders in $HOME/Mail (e.g. as used by mh, mhe, or Postcard) use the program ~birrell/bin/addFolders. This copies all your messages into Pachyderm, and includes appropriate labels in your Pachyderm account preferences.

  • In other cases (including Eudora or Netscape folders) you should use the pachyadd command. Read the manual page for the pachyadd command on a SRC Unix machine, or consult our technical support group for help.
